Post Disabling the xPressDox Save Document feature
Is there a setting to to stop xPressDox from prompting me to save the assembled document?

My templates are launched from a Word VBA macro using the API function "RunTemplateWithData". My macro will take care of the save to the document management system once the xPressDox assembly process completes. Of course, I don't want to be prompted to save?

Our system already has global processes for saving documents to document manager so prefer to use them to reduce duplication of process.

Thanks in advance!

OK - I think that will be solved by the solution to the request to return not the file path of the saved document but the document text itself (maybe in an object). Watch this space :) .....

For the record, if you still wanted the merged document to be saved, and the user not be prompted for the name, you could use the SetDocumentSaveFolder and/or SetSavedFileName commands in the template, or in conjunction with the Configuration.

Josie:

I am going to provide that as an option on the new RunTemplate command.
